Oh and by the way, I had my first start today with no issues. I tried to upload a video from my IPad and it tells me that the file type is not recognized. That 912 sounded wonderful. I am going down to Idaho for my tailwheel endorsement with Stick & Rudder and more training as I haven't flown PIC in 31 years. My first flight is looking to be about May 17 if my inspection goes well

Stan, congrats on several topics but really, way to go on the empty weight! She'll be a great performer. Betting the inspection goes well.

Oh great to hear Stan. Your story somewhat parallels my own. I have not PICd anything in 25 years myself and have the same plans made as you regarding Stick and Rudder. Great looking Kitfox. Congrats on the first start.

Stan, I'm really curious how you came out with a 736# empty weight? Mine came out 834#, almost 100 lbs heavier. In your empty weight did you include: engine oil & coolant, unusable fuel, fuel in the header tank, the bigger tires, all interior carpets/cushions, everything painted, baggage compartment, lift strut fairings? My weight also included the heavier duty ABW tailwheel.
