Not really a scale model, but a friend of mine painted up a funcub to look like my Kitfox III.

I just bought some Peanut Scale sized plans with the hope of blowing up to the 50" to 60" range. Looks like a simple flat sided build. The only hard part will be the ailerons.

Found a couple of pictures.. These should be available in March if all goes well. We hope to fly one soon to make any final tweaks.. They are being made overseas and are almost ready to fly (ARF)

That does look very nice. I was hoping for a non-ARF. I wanted to build it and i especially wanted to paint it my colors.

Mr. McBean, very nice looking model. May be jumping the gun but, would interested in any details you may have on that little kitfox such as wingspan/materials/motor. It does, of course, need much bigger wheels/tires for off-airport operations!

Yep, needs tundra tires. It can be scuffed and painted I'm sure. Regardless, put me down for at least one. If the price is right I'll buy one for my dad as well. Seriously, put me on the list. Need a deposit?

edit: Should have made it with a round cowl!

Leave it to Lowell. He'll have a round cowel and a turbine engine mounted.

No turbine engine needed. Just an underpowered brushless motor to mimic the 582.
