    Default Tricycle gear

    Hello Forum
Since I purchased a model 4-1200 912 , my model 2 is up for sale.
A local gentleman is interested if it were tricycle gear.
I found photos of SkySteves conversion to trigear and it looks fairly easy to do, or am I kidding my self?
I will not be cheap! Grove gear plus nose gear assembly and weld on plate.
It appears that the Grove gear installs in the mounting tabs at the lift strut and the next forward tabs.
Remove the engine mount and firewall, weld on the plate and bolt the nose gear in place and reassemble with fabric repairs.
I assume I would buy from McDeans Model 4 gear since this was not offered on a model 2 that I know of.
Am I missing an important ingredient here?
This Kitfox is powered by a 582 if that would make a difference.
    Thanks
    Herman
