    Default Rudder Pedal placement

I'm currently rebuilding a IV Classic and being a taller guy, I was wondering if there would be any issues in lengthening the rudder cable adjustment plates to get a little more leg room. The manual specs. the rudder pedals to be perpendicular to the floor board. Lengthening the plates would angle the pedals toward the firewall about 20 degrees. They look like they would clear the firewall at full rudder deflection. Haven't mounted any brake components yet.

    Thanks,
    Mike

I wouldn't hurt to make the adjustment links a hole or two longer. You can easily shorten them if you run into problems with clearance when it is finished.

I also used turnbuckles attached to the rudder pedal.
