I believe initially the 7 came with the tab (mine did) the SS reintroduced the electric jackscrew (which I upgraded to)

    Interesting......
From the Series 6.. There was the Series 7, Sport, Series 7A and now the Series 7 Super Sport and the Series 7 Light Sport (SLSA).
The elevator anti-servo trim tab was first introduced in the early Series 7.. the first few S7's were the original electric trim stabilizer. Manual trim was on the Sport and the 7A.It was sold as aftermarket as well and many changed their 5 or 6 to the manual trim tab.

There are many differences from the 6 to the S7-SS. Flaperon and Flaperon mounting is different, Firewall forward was not only for maintenance, but for balance, more use of the cargo bay and the ability to seal the windshield to the firewall. Cargo bay is larger, push-pull control system is different, seat pans are different, many minor changes within the fuselage, larger elevator, different wing tips, razor back with antenna plate, different fuel tanks. There are more options available like the LLE..

Structurally: All 1550 max gross capable except the SPORT.

Many other items that are more manufacturing related and would go un-noticed.
