Re: Aus S7 Kitfox
Josh I know the feeling, I go to Malaysia in May for 7 weeks with work so that will slow me up! I have a similar time line goal... I turn 28 next month and plan to be flying in 12 - 18 months (being realistic!) Ross is probable wondering what's taking so long.... He could have built 2 kitfox so in my one. Haha

Re: Aus S7 Kitfox
It's not really Kitfox related but it is slowing my build process up!
Thought I would add a pic of the Agusta hangar in Malaysia where I am doing an AW139 maintenance course for a couple of months.
I haven't seen any Kitfoxs over here yet....

Re: Aus S7 Kitfox
Yes they are a neat helicopter, a little different to the Sikorsky 76s I've been working on but slowly getting my head around it all.
Another 5 weeks to go and yes, defiantly looking forward to getting back to the Kitfox!
That sounds exciting Ross! We have dreams of that trip too one day...
It will be all go on the kitfox when I get home, I get 3 weeks off after this Malaysia trip so that should make an impact on progress!

Re: Aus S7 Kitfox
Finally back to it!
Ive had a good few days on the kitfox and finished all the fabric tapes on the fuselage and finished covered the rudder which was the last of the fabric work to be completed.
Moving on to fitting wing tips next and lots of odd jobs until the weather warms up and then in to painting... well that's the plan at this stage.

Re: Aus S7 Kitfox
If you are doing all your work in a sea can, I am impressed! I find my two car garage tight. Looks great.

Re: Aus S7 Kitfox
Hey Josh,
Haha yeah it's a little tight, the shipping container is next to our hangar so it's not my only space but it's handy because I can heat it and I'm going to set up a spray booth in it when I'm ready to paint.
Your making great progress! I've got a bit of catching up to do.
